Solving for the Premium to Reach Maturity (PTM) on an Inforce Case

One type of illustration we typically get requests for, is solving for the premium to reach maturity on an inforce policy.  This is actually a very simple illustration to generate and can be accomplished by using the Inforce Illustration System.

To begin, click on the Inforce Illustration button within your desktop software, or you can navigate to www.ikclife.com.  Both options will take you to a login screen.



PLEASE NOTE: If you do not have a username and password, click on "Create User" and you will be able to set one up. 

Once you have logged in, click on "Run Inforce Illustrations."

Make note of the parameters for looking up inforce policies:

Type in the policy number and click "Ok."

Next, the Policy Summary will be displayed.  To run an illustration click "View Illustration."

To solve for the premium to reach maturity, simply click on the PTM button. 



If a premium to reach maturity can be calculated, the premium will then be displayed based on the billing mode that is selected similarly to the example below:

If a premium to reach maturity cannot be calculated (Due to DEFRA, etc.), the following message will be displayed:

Once you are satisfied with the premium, click the magnifying glass to run the illustration.

Triple Option UL Supplemental

To help you in showing various options to your clients, we have added the Triple Option UL Supplemental to the Illustration System.  This is a great tool to use to show clients how their coverage can be met by Term, Cashback, or Universal Life coverage without running each illustration separately.

To add the Triple Option UL Supplemental, checkmark the box while entering your client information.

Once all of your client information has been entered and you run the illustration, the Triple Option UL Detail will be included.

The Triple Option UL Supplemental will take the entered information for the client and display it in three ways:

Scenerio 1 will display all coverage met by a Level Term product.

Scenerio 2 will display all coverage met by a Cashback product.

Scenerio 3 will display all coverage met by a Universal Life product.  Please
                 note that this scenerio will be figured using the target premium.

This is a great way to show your clients some quick , side-by-side options, all on a single page, without running three separate illustrations.

Running Illustrations on your Internet-Ready Mobile Device

On the go without your computer?  No problem!  If you have an internet-ready mobile device, you can run new business and current inforce illustrations and have them sent to your email address within minutes!

To access this mobile application, bring up the web browser on your mobile device and navigate to www.kclillustration.com.  Your mobile device will be recognized and you will be able to do the following:

• Run New Business Illustrations
• Run Current Inforce Illustrations
• Access State Approvals
• Contact the Illustration Development Team

In order to run New Business or current inforce illustrations, you will first be required to enter your username and password.  If you do not yet have a username and password set up for www.kclillustration.com, simply go to this same website on your computer and select "Login."

You will then be able to select "Click Here" to set up your agent account.

Once you have established a username and password, you will then be able to log in on your mobile device and your computer to run new business and current inforce illustrations.  Please feel free to contact us as well if you would like help establishing a username and password.
